A north-easterner, Mia started writing music in the summer of 2012 with the MA based band, The Dire Honeys.
She calls her style : North Country Soul. Greatly inspired by the classic country and soul greats of the 60s and 70s her music comes from the heart, but beware, it’s covered in salt. She is raw and unapologetic, but also tender and forlorn. From heartbreak to revenge and back again.
